Your signer intake starts here, free.
Complete this intake yourself as the actual signer, then follow its secure Persona step. No document file, payment or booking is required to start. Include any apostille or shipping need so the work stays connected.
Notary Geek is led by Greg Lirette. We review the document route and confirm the work before payment. If you have a file, use the real document or written instructions; you may register before the file is ready.
Already started? Continue in your existing thread or get intake support. We check existing records before asking you to repeat a step.

The signer completes their own intake and identity check. Helpers can prepare a document handoff and forward the signer link, but cannot book or complete the signer steps for them.
For already-notarized documents, we usually review and complete a new Notary Geek notarization before apostille. That notarization is included in the apostille fee.
Before you ask us to act
Notary service is not legal advice.
Notary Geek is not a law firm, its personnel are not attorneys and are not acting as attorneys, and it does not practice law. Questions about which document to use, your rights, legal effect, or whether you should sign belong with your lawyer.
We may give candid practical opinions about process, operational risk, notarial requirements, and whether a request fits our service. Those opinions are not legal advice. If you do not want a practical opinion, do not ask for one.
- Our responsibility: the notarial act we accept and perform, including the duties imposed on the notary by law.
- Your responsibility: the document, transaction, legal effect, recipient requirements, and decision to sign, with help from your own advisers when needed.
- Signer readiness: each signer arrives independently willing, prepared, and able to understand and communicate. We do not persuade, coach, or convince anyone to sign.
- Separate sessions: divorcing spouses or other parties who should not meet may be handled separately when the route allows it; each appearance still must be independent and voluntary.
Practical test: if the situation would not be suitable for an ordinary in-person notary, moving it online does not cure the problem.
Other ways to start
Actual signers can register above without a file. Helpers, official records and existing customer threads have separate routes.
Uploaded files and request details may be stored in private backend systems for review, notary operations, audit, support, and workflow continuity.
